Now there is a special place set amidst the beautiful surrounds of the River Birches environment.
The
Cottage at River Birches is a cedar clad, architecturally designed
three bedroom property which blends harmoniously with the unique
riverside environment of the Tongariro River
The Cottage was
conceived with families and smaller groups in mind, those who value the
privacy and spaciousness of a home with the facilities to fully cater
for their own needs for the duration of their stay, should they so
desire.
Inside The Cottage, stylish interior decor and
contemporary features enhance a sense of warmth, comfort and
understated sophistication. Immediately upon arrival, you will feel a
sense of relaxation as the atmosphere soothes away the stresses of
daily living.
The tranquility and peacefulness of the Cottage
surroundings are interrupted only by the sounds of the native Tui and
Bellbird performing their beautiful bird song or you might get a
glimpse of our native Wood Pigeon the Keruru, whose wings make a very
distinctive "whooshing" sound as they fly. In the evening, if you are
lucky, you may hear the sound of the Morepork - New Zealand's native
owl - its haunting call echoing evocatively through the night air.
The Cottage at River Birches truly is your perfect escape alongside the magical waters of the Tongariro.
